Professional counselling within a Christian framework
“I think it’s fair to say that sometimes life gets difficult…
Regardless of who we are or where we come from, there are times when we require a little outside input to help us get back on track.”
RELATIONSHIP AND FAMILY COUNSELLING
How we interact with others has a huge impact on our lives. Our families, friends, work colleagues and even wider community, greatly influence how we live and our general sense of wellbeing and peace. At its core, relationship counselling provides a safe environment in which individuals/couples can explore and develop healthy, positive ways of interacting. It’s about healing, growth and navigating life more effectively.
STRESS, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
Our modern lives are often characterised by unhealthy levels of stress and individuals can easily become overwhelmed by life’s pressures or specific traumatic events. Left unaddressed, stress can, and often does lead to significant mental health issues. Counselling to specifically address anxiety and/or depression can never be undertaken too early.
ADDICTIONS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Addiction and its associated negative behaviours are an extremely hot topic. It’s a field of human struggle that impacts all levels of society and tears at the fabric of our families and our work places. Like many issues we humans wrestle with, there is no quick fix or magic wand that instantly addresses the problem – but there is hope. Addiction can be overcome and lives can be changed.
